Soft tissue & Sporting Injuries

Sporting and non sporting injuries such as sprains, strains, fractures and soft tissue injuries such as plantarfasciitis and Achilles Tendonitis can be painful and debilitating. At hip to sole, we determine the root cause of the injury by conducting a biomechanical assessment to ensure your treatment plan is effective and evidence based.

Plantarfasciitis

HOW DO WE TREAT SOFT TISSUE INJURIES?
We approach the treatment of soft tissue injuries by assessing the injury first through a biomechanical assessment. Each soft tissue and/or sporting injury is different but may require multimodal approach which may include:
-
Soft tissue manual therapy (such as massage, dry needling or shockwave)
-
Orthotic therapy
-
Footwear prescription and/or recommendation
-
Muscle strengthening through exercise and stretching program
-
Gait retraining
